So, on Sophie's ACTUAL birthday, she wasn't here.  It was a little sad to me.  Sophie got lots of attention on her birthday at camp, but I was sad.  It was a first.  Her first birthday that I wasn't with her at least part of the day.

Molly had a piece of Sophie's birthday cake on Sophie's birthday.  She really wanted me to put the candles in it and let her blow them out and pretend it was her birthday.  But I didn't go for that.  I knew she would have expected birthday presents too.

Sophie had big fun at camp.  She said that there was no way it would be as fun as Camp Siloam before she left.  I think she enjoyed it just as much.  They did the color wars like Sadie did at camp.  Sophie was on the green team.  She said the green team won it all.  She was a little excited about that!

I did get a few pictures while she was gone.  Facebook makes it a little easier for my kids to be away from me.  When I see their smiling faces and know they are having fun it puts me at ease a little.

I was glad to have her home on Friday.  They got back at about 11:30.  I took her too lunch, just the two of us.  She told me all about her week and was beaming!

I thought she was really pumped up and hyper when I picked her up.  When I got off of work and brought Molly home I was surprised to see her asleep on the couch.  That little camper was worn out!! Molly couldn't wait to see Sophie because she had been asking every single day when she was coming home.  Molly just had to wake her up.

This sweetness lasted for about 35 minutes.  Then it was back to normal.

I like it while it lasts!!
