This is the look of pride and excitement. I'm sure he wouldn't admit it, because that's how he is, but I know that he was excited about this and was proud to be walking Sadie.
He was also proud that Sadie picked a purple dress to match his Go-Devil spirit. It was quite funny that he suggested she get a purple dress and we dismissed that really quick. I didn't even think about the Go-Devil purple until after she had picked her dress and we were eating on the way home. Larry LOVED it. I think he told that story to everyone he knew.
It doesn't have to do anything with the Go-Devils, but she looks really good in that purple.
I took alot of these photos. We were outside and were dry and I loved them both dressed up together.
There will definitely be one of these framed in the house somewhere.
I loved seeing them walk and hearing their names over the speaker.
I loved that umbrella really made the pictures look neat.
I loved that you can tell Sadie is having the time of her life in these pictures.
I love that Larry even posed for a duck face picture with Sadie in public.
THAT my friends, is HUGE!
This was the first high school football game that Sadie went to that she didn't cheer. She was a little sad about that and a little excited.
She cheered anyway!
They did the Star Spangled Banner and the Alma Mater with the cheerleaders.
Then they went back to their stage/tent. It didn't take them long to start inching out of there.
They were on the sidelines cheering within minutes.
They rain had stopped for a bit. The Scrappers were scoring.
At half-time, the girls went and changed out of their dresses, but it didn't stop them from cheering.
They just cheered louder!
And took selfies.
Lots of selfies!
Super proud that Sadie got to experience this. She can list this on her application now when she completes her dream and applies to be a Disney Princess.

Ok, I'm not going to lie. But you already know..... I CRIED. She is beautiful in that dress and walking with Larry but I love that last picture too. I love the one picture of her doing the duck face and him smiling.... that's my FAVE. I love her in purple and orange and black. I am so excited she got to experience this. I am so sad I missed it all. I hate the ACT was scheduled at the same time as well as me volunteering at Presley's school for the teachers. But I am still proud to say the least. And I would have only cried anyway....
