Halloween 2015

It was supposed to rain.  But it rained that morning and moved out fast for the kids to enjoy trick or treating.  Molly was too excited about her Bat Girl costume.

I had tried to get Sophie to be Wonder Woman.  She would have no part in it.

Sadie went and did her own thing all day.  I didn't even see her much all day.

We got all dressed and went to the church for the Fall Festival.

There were lots of games, candy, popcorn, and friends there.  Sadie was also there working the festival with the youth group.

They got some cool prizes and candy.

Then we went to the park for trick or treating.  They decided they wanted to do the costume contest.  We waited in line for it to start and both Molly and Sophie entered in their age division.

Miss Molly, who is usually very shy, got up on that stage and did her thang.  She wasn't a bit shy.  She was waving to the crowd and everything.  This was the cutest picture of her.  She was looking like she meant business and was ready to save the world at any time.

Molly had a large group in her age division.  They cut the finalists down to 7 participants.  Molly ended up getting 3rd place.  She won a Walmart gift card.

Sophie didn't have as many in her age division.  I just knew she would place.  But she didn't.

Here are the winners in her age division.  I think she got robbed!

But.  There was a girl in the age division before her that placed that had the same costume. Her face was more zombie-fied too.  I think if she hadn't placed right before Sophie came up, it would have made a big difference.  Sophie really didn't mind anyway.

We left there and hit a few houses before we called it a night.  Halloween 2015 officially in the books.
