Molly and I took the day off this Friday. We didn't do much of anything special. We did go have lunch at Starz and go to the pep rally.
Molly hasn't been to many this year and with this being Sadie's last year and only a few more games left, I thought she better go.
Molly doesn't just love it though. Not like Sophie does. She likes it okay. She just doesn't get excited about it yet.
Friday night was Senior night. Another reminder that Sadie is leaving us soon. There's a place way down deep in my stomach that is like a deep dark cave that hurts really bad when I think about her leaving.
We played Bauxite. As usual we played around a little in the first half and then kicked it in gear in the second half.
I think the final score was like 42-14 or something like that.
Sadie is sad football cheer is winding down. She enjoys it so much more than basketball and competition cheer. Competition is really tough on her and she almost dreads it.
She does get excited though when she can do tricks. Like this one below. This is her full-up that she has gotten pretty good at.
This is her face when she nails it.
She has been working on pancackes for competition and hates them. Not just a simple, "I don't like them." But instead it's more of a: "I can't stand them and I'm afraid I'm going to fall on my head and be a vegetable" type of hate.
I haven't seen her do one yet. She only does them in the cheer room where there are mats. She is absolutely terrified of them and secretly wishes that they be banned from the world.
But she can't do the flippy-do thing in the pyramid and this is the lesser of two evils for her.
