A trip to Texarkana as a family.  This doesn't happen very often with our busy schedules.  But we had fun.

We had a gift certificate to Longhorns.

Then a trip to the mall to find Sadie a couple of banquet dresses.

We ended up in Claire's where Molly was looking for stick on earrings.  I threw the question up in the air about getting her ears pierced.  She has asked since she was two.  It has always been my policy that they had to be old enough to take care of their own ears before they could get them pierced.  I am getting soft in my old age.  I don't really know why or how that happened.  But Molly agreed that she wanted her ears pierced.  She picked out the earrings and I signed the paperwork.  Then she got a little nervous and said that she would just get the stick ons.  I convinced her that it was going to be just fine.

She climbed up in the chair and the technicians did their work.

She made Sophie hold her hand.  In a few seconds, it was done.

She actually was a little mad because it hurt.

But that didn't last long either.  She is loving her new earrings!

She thinks she is a big girl.
