So.... continuing on Day 3.  We returned to the gym because I thought it was going to be close to time for the tryouts to be over.  Boy was I wrong!!  It took FOREVER!!!

When we got back, there were two groups in front of Sadie to go.

Then she finally went in and then they called Sadie and two others back in to "see them again."  This scared Sadie to death.  She only thought the worst.  Then after everyone had gone in in groups and I thought it was over.  They had to all line up and go in together and do stunting.

Then after about 45 more minutes.  They came back out to waiting again!!  They said they would post the numbers on the door in about an hour.  The waiting was torture.  We did get back in the car and go ride around for awhile to break the tension.  We rode to the lake and looked around and got something to drink.

So when we went back at 5:00pm, we patiently waited in the hall again until the results were posted.  All 21 girls pacing and chewing on their nails and agonizing over it all.

Then finally....... the results were up!   Our number 13 was posted on the door.  She was ecstatic !!

Sadie and Brittany both made it!!  I couldn't imagine one making and not the other.  They were both tickled about it and relieved that part was over.

They join Rachel, also from Nashville, that cheered last year for OBU.  Rachel helped them alot in preparing for this in such a short time.  She gave them lots of advice and encouragement.  So it will be neat that they are all cheering again together.

And Sadie has already started getting to know all of these girls from this long weekend and is looking forward to getting to know them better.
Here are all the freshman cheerleaders 2016-2017.

And of course, her little sisters, and most definitely her biggest fans, were super excited for her!!

Plus, Sophie and Molly have already learned the OBU fight song and dance, so we wouldn't want that to go to waste!!!

Super proud of my girl again and I am excited about her having this experience.  She has my heart.
