We stopped in a little restaurant when we got back to the pier. We got some little smoothies and a bite to eat.
The girls were worn out from playing in the water. We had just gotten sat down good and ordered, when the bottom fell out.
It rained pretty hard for about 15-20 minutes.
Then we did a little shopping at the stores before we left. Then we went back and got back aboard the ship.
I was dead set on eating in the dining room this night. We hadn't eaten in there yet because the first evening was too exciting for everyone. The second evening was cruise elegant dress and we didn't bring fancy clothes. So, this was the first real opportunity we had and I wanted them to experience it.
So, we all got cleaned up and washed the sand off of us and went to the London Dining Room.
I was excited.
I ordered the grilled salmon, Larry got the flat iron steak, Molly ordered a chicken nuggets, and Sadie and Sophie both ordered spaghetti. That was of course for the main meal.
There was also bread and butter brought to us when we were seated. You ordered an appetizer first. Larry ordered shrimp cocktail and I got a salad.
Then after all of that they bring you a dessert menu. Wowzer! I was stuffed!!
Also, during dinner, they always have a song that the waitress and waiters do a dance to. This night it was to Ferrell's song "Happy." Molly was invited to go help them and she even went up there.
Not only did she go up there, which I would have bet money against, but she also danced with them!
This is us at our table with our waitress, Honorata. She is from the Phillipines and we absolutely loved her! She has three kids at home with the youngest being 9 months old. She is away from her babies for months and months at a time. She is still doing this job to help her husband pay for school. She is a new Christian and is learning how to lead others to Christ.
We have talked about her and been praying for her since we met her. She made an impact on our family. Everyone loved her!!
Sadie and Sophie started getting queezy at dinner. They loved their spaghetti and wanted to finish it, but there was a storm that had brewed up and the ship was getting pretty rocky. Honorata gave them crackers and I sent them to the room to take some Dramamine.
We went up after dinner and checked on them. They were feeling better but just wanted to lay down in the bed and watch TV. Molly didn't get seasick one bit. We rocking from side to side and Molly was jumping up and down on the bed. Not a worry in the world.
When I watched the weather that night, I got a little worried. There was a tropical depression that was forming right behind us. They had already named it, "Colin." When I went to bed that night they were projecting it to travel right behind us and then turn east toward Florida. I was scared that we weren't traveling fast enough and it would catch us before it turned.
Luckily it stayed behind us the whole time and did in fact turn east.
