Friday was a Fun Day at Sea Day.  Sadie and Molly look unhappy in this picture, but they weren't, this is just their morning faces.  My point was to get a picture of our balcony.  This was my happy place.

I loved to sit out here and look at the water, watch the waves, and just enjoy every minute of it.  I was so happy to see sunshine when I woke up.

We got dressed and went to Club Rio for the Dr. Seuss parade.

Molly was super excited because she said she had never been in a parade before.

We got there a little early, so we took silly pictures again.

That became our thing.  It's something about vacation I guess.

Sometimes Molly doesn't want to be in the pictures.  Sometimes she fights to keep others out of the pictures.  This is how that turns out.

Then Molly spotted Thing 1 and Thing 2.

And it wasn't long until the Cat in the Hat came out.

We lined up and were given banners, signs, and lots of noise makers.  We started our parade and walked through quite a ways making our presence known.

Our cruise director, whose name is Matey, (Yes that is his real name. He was super cool and super good at his job.)  Our cruise director, Matey, had a bullhorn and would shout, "Dr. Seuss!" and we would respond to him as loud as we could muster, "Is on the loose!"

We did this all the was to the Rome Lounge.

When we arrived, they had a story time on the stage.

Matey, along with some volunteer actors, read and acted out the story of the Cat in the Hat.
It was super cute.  Molly loved it.

After the story, we split up.  Larry and Molly went to the pool.  (This was Molly's favorite spot.)  The pool and ice cream.  It was a dream come true for her.  She also made many of friends in that pool.  She never did know any of their names though.

Sadie and I checked Sophie into Camp Ocean.  It was an awesome little kids activity center that Sophie absolutely loved.  It was broken into age groups and they would have age appropriate activities all day and into the night for the kids.  You had to check them in and out and they provided you with a cell phone in case they needed to get a hold of you or the kids were ready to go before you got back to get them.

Molly went a couple of times.  The first time she went for about an hour or so, when we picked her up they told us to try the next age group (6-8) for her because she seemed like she was bored in there.  The next time she went she did seem to like it better than the first, but she was all about swimming and ice cream so she didn't go as often as Sophie.

But with Sophie gone to Camp Ocean and Larry and Molly gone to the pool, Sadie and I went and got us a fruity drink.

And then we went to the pool for a little bit.

We checked on Larry and Molly and there they were eating ice cream again.

We gathered everyone up and went back to the room for a nice little nap.

Sadie loves naps!!

I really don't remember if I took a nap this day or not.  It doesn't look like there was room in the bed for me.  I was probably at my happy place.

After nap time we went out again looking for supper.  Sadie had been wanting ice cream because Molly and Larry were talking about it so much.  Every time she went to one of the ice cream places they were changing it out or filling it up.  (Probably because Molly was eating so much of it.)  So, Sadie sent Sophie to get her an ice cream cone.   Sadie was not impressed when Sophie brought her this little bity cone of ice cream.

After dinner, Sophie wanted to go back to her Camp Ocean.  I reluctantly let her.  I really didn't want her to go because we were going to a show, but she was so excited because they were having a dance party that night.  So I let her go.

We grabbed a snack and took off to the show.

The show was in the Rome Lounge, which is beautiful.

It was called 'It's a Wonderful World'

It showcased many different countries in the world.

The costumes were gorgeous and they changed frequently.

The dancers were amazing.

Molly was totally enthralled the whole time.

She would lean over and whisper to me about the costumes, and which dress would look good on her.  It was an amazing show that we really all enjoyed.
It made me a little nervous at the end when there where fireworks.  Didn't seem very safe to me since we were on a ship in the middle of miles and miles of water.
But all was good.

We returned to our room and Molly let Sadie have the top bunk.  This decision was made before Sophie made it back to the room.  Sophie wasn't especially happy about it, but it worked out good.  Sophie and Molly had more room on the bottom anyway.
