Lately.....

Lately, Sadie has been working her butt off.  She works at the club waitressing and/or lifeguarding. She also has a babysitting gig that she does for 4-5 hours twice a week, depending on her schedule at the club.  It feels like I rarely see her and she had to make me a schedule so I could keep up with what she is doing on what day.  It also makes it really hard to do things together this summer.  But I guess this is life now.  She has been saying that she doesn't like "adulting."  I must say that I liked it better when I could control her schedule instead of having to make an appointment with her.

This is a picture of her at work.  She found a little bunny in the kiddie pool and saved it.

Lately, the girls have been getting along a little better.  I think internally they realize that life as they know it is going to change a little bit.  Sadie is trying to spend more quality time with the little ones.
They really enjoy it too.

Lately, Molly is coming out of her shell a little more.  She is still a little shy and it takes a little bit to warm up to people she is not around often, but I think the warm-up time is getting a little shorter.  This is a picture of her at church.  She was telling big stories during extended session that morning.

Lately, I have been trying to make count my blessings more.  This was on Father's Day.  I know lots of people that have lost a parent or parents.  It breaks my heart.  I am lucky that I have both of mine. With health problems all around us, I am trying not to take a single thing for granted.

Lately, Larry has been semi-dieting.  He was having bad indigestion at night.  I told him that I thought it was all the bread that he eats.  That turned into a bet that he couldn't go 5 days without bread.  -He loves a good bet-  Of course as luck would have it, we got invited to pizza one of those night.  He did good and ordered wings.  He was still starving after his 6 wings so much so that he ate the topping of a supreme pizza.  This is huge for the meat, potatoes, and bread man that will eat no vegetables except corn.  (He won the bet and lasted 5 days.  I actually won the bet too because it turns out I was right and it did help with his indigestion.  He actually has noticed a big difference and has cut his bread intake in half even after the bet.)

Lately, we have been having lots of doctor visits.  Molly had a strange fever that lasted all weekend. I thought it was going to be an ear infection because of all the swimming, but ears were good.  Must have been something viral.  She is good now.
I went and had a yearly exam and am scheduled for a mammogram this month.   Sadie had a follow-up and has an eye appointment coming up.  Sophie needs a shot before school starts.  So, by August we will should all be caught up with everything, Lord willing.

Lately, we made a trip to MeMe's.  The girls love going to MeMe's.  They would go there every weekend if we could.  Oh how I wish MeMe lived closer to us.

Lately, we just celebrated the 4th of July.  We didn't buy any fireworks this year.  We did go to the celebration at the city park.  The Billstown Band was there.

Sophie and Molly enjoyed snowcones and fireworks.  Sadie and Cameron were there but were too good to sit with us.  We just aren't that cool anymore I guess.
