Move in day was hectic.  We thought we had planned and were prepared for move in day.  We missed church and loaded up Sadie's car and my car and headed to Arkadelphia.

This is the before picture.  Just beds, desks, walls, and floors.  Sadie already decided that she was going to loft her bed and put her desk underneath her bed.  She had a jump on her roommate, Medora, who did not move in until the following Thursday.  

We had lots of help.  Sadie, Sophie, Molly, Larry and I were in there.  Meme drove all the way down so she could help too. 

I didn't know how long it was going to take to get her dorm ready, but I do know that we didn't have enough time to get it all done.  

Molly and Larry went exploring so the big girls could get some stuff done.   

They were gone for an hour or two.  MeMe had to leave and Sadie, Sophie and I went to Walmart and got some supplies and groceries.

We had to leave the room the way it was.  We were tired, hungry, and the little girls had to start school the next morning.  So, we went to eat supper and parted ways from there.  

I think it was easier on me that we did it that way.  Sophie cried most of the way home, but surprisingly I didn't cry.  I did tear up a little when I saw her drive off - smiling and waving like a big girl.  

I just tried not to think about life being different....tried not to think about how much I was gonna miss her.
