Sophie spent the day with Journey and Anna Kate for Journey's birthday.  They have all gotten pretty close friends over the last several weeks.

They went for pedicures and manicures, to eat, and to see a movie.  She said they had super fun.

When they got home, Journey ended up spending the night with us.  She and Sophie made Valentine cupcakes to take to the teachers at school.  Sophie's favorite thing to do is make cupcakes.  She never eats them.

I stepped out a little this year.  I always always get the box of Valentines at the store for the girls.  Let them pick them out and write the names on them.  It's so easy.  So why did I think that it was a good idea to MAKE Valentines this year?  I will never know.

But, I gathered the supplies and had Molly help.  I got the idea online.  Things are always cuter online than I can do them.  This is how they turned out.  Next year I will get the box of Valentines at the store.

Molly didn't care one way or the other.  She was just glad to have something to take to school for the party.  (Another reason I will get the box of Valentines at the store next year.)

She was a little excited that it was her birthday month and she got to get a birthday spanking from Mrs. Blue.  She tried to act a little embarrassed, but I knew better.  She had talked about it all month.

Sophie did her presentation on adoption.  She did most of her work on it during Christmas break.  It was a big project.  Sadie helped her on it some.  When she turned it in early, the teacher bragged on her and used it for an example for all of the classes.  She was super proud of it.

We have gotten to watch alot of basketball this year.  I absolutely love it.  Sophie loves to go.  Larry loves to go.  Molly tolerates it.  She has been having more fun this year since she has friends now.  She was way occupied this particular game because she took her tablet and all of her friends took turns playing on it.

We also had our dental visit this week.  Sophie has been wanting braces forever.  The dentist told her that her teeth were beautiful.  He said that her 12 year old molars were coming in a little funny and we would watch them to see if they straighten up.  She calls them her 12 year old molders.  She is watching them every day now.

Molly loves the dentist too.  I'm glad they have had good experiences and I am thankful for little kid dentists.  They are so good with them.

We got a good report!  No cavities for either of them.  Super proud of them because I hate spending money on fillings.
