Easter 2017......

We went to MeMe's for Easter this year.  Larry was gone to Missouri turkey hunting.  So the girls and I loaded up and made the trip.  We dyed a few eggs and tye-dyed some tshirts.  We visited and we ate.

We hung out with the cousins and played.

We took some pictures.

We took some silly pictures.

Then some more...

and some more.

Then Trisha said we could go to her house so Molly could ride a horse.

Molly has been wanting to ride a horse for a while now.  She has said it many many times.  When the subject came up about horses, Trisha said lets do it and Molly was all in.

All the kids went.  Even Sadie.

We put Molly on the horse first.  She almost freaked out.  She almost started hyperventilating.  She started saying, "Get me down!"  "He's moving.  He's moving."
I made her stay on and Trisha led her around the pin a couple of times.  She loosened up a little and then she decided it was someone's turn.

Sadie went next.  Sadie fell in love.  We had to make her get off.

Molly wanted back on with Sadie.  Molly insisted that she get to "drive" though.

Rowdy took control and showed us city girls how it is done.

He is a natural.

Finally Sophie got a turn.  She wanted to ride with Spencer.  She wasn't real comfortable riding by herself.

She is the scared-y cat of all of us.  I don't mind that a bit.  I like it that she is not a dare devil and she has the fear of breaking bones in her body.

Rowdy may have tried to get the horse to trot with Spencer and Rowdy on there.  Sophie was squealing and holding on to Spencer.  Rowdy was wearing that cute little mischievous grin and pushed it as far as he knew he could.

After all that excitement, Molly had no desire to hunt Easter eggs.  She would have stayed there and rode the horse all day.  By the time we were ready to leave, she had already decided that she knew what she was doing and wanted to ride by herself and drive.
We decided we might try that another day.
