We have been fishing a few times this year. Definitely not as much as last year, but we have been alot busier this year it seems. This was Molly's only catch this day, and it was the biggest. She was pretty proud of that too.
Sadie has even gone with us. She found her a little honey hole and she was catching one right after the other. She loves fishin'.
She also loves taking selfies with Dad.
We had also incorporated a new family outing. Sadie told Larry that she wanted to learn how to play tennis. So, we went to Walmart and bought everyone a tennis racket. Sadie went with us once and she hasn't been home since. She will be impressed at how much better we've gotten while she's been away.
I have just realized that Molly has on the same shirt in three different pictures on this one post. They were three different days. I can promise that the she has other shirts. I can't promise that this one was clean every time.
Sophie and I have been going to a mother-daughter Bible study. We have both really enjoyed it. This particular night the girls had ice cream and their feet washed before our study. Sophie loved both. We appropriately talked about serving others. It was a good lesson for us. Most weeks I need the encouraging lesson that is provided. Many weeks it has been right on time.
Sophie has also found her a friend, that is a boy, that she calls her boyfriend. His name is Hayden. She saw him at Molly's first soccer practice. She pointed him out to me and said he was cute and asked if I knew who he was. He is in Junior High so she didn't know him from school. Over the next few practices, she ended up throwing the ball around with him and some more kids their age. Then he asked her out. What's funny is that she loves going to Molly's games now. She also is all about fixing her hair, brushing her teeth, and making sure her clothes match.
One day after the game I made her call him over so I could take their picture. They were both embarrassed and had goofy looks on their faces. This will not be the last time I embarrass her I'm sure.
I'm just not ready for this boy thing with her. Not ready.
Then this happened one day......When you are a redneck, you improvise. When you are a redneck, you experiment. When you are a redneck, you fly a kite with your fishing pole. We are rednecks.
And... we had our Easter family day at church. Molly and Ava hunted eggs. Sophie said she was too big for that. She did play some of the games, but I didn't get any pictures. It was colder than I wanted it to be, but the girls had fun.
Molly and Ava have been hunting eggs together since they could walk. It is precious to watch them grow.
