Molly went to VBS this year and had a great week.  Her favorite day was when they made slime during crafts.  She looked forward to that all week long.

Sophie went a day or two but then decided that she didn't want to finish the week out.  There were only a couple of 6th graders there and they were having them help with the little bitty kids.

Molly didn't care.  She went anyway.

It makes me happy that she isn't afraid to interact and play with kids her age or even older.

Sophie interacts and plays with kids her age too.  She is just a little more reserve about it than Molly.  (The neighborhood girls came over one morning and Sadie cooked them all breakfast.)

So far this summer, I have seen a little transformation of sorts in the relationship between Sadie and Sophie.  They have started really confiding in each other.  Less arguing.  Doing more things together.  Helping each other.  It is so sweet to see.  I love it.

Now Molly has taken on the "pest"role.  She is still the sweet little baby, but she aggravates and irritates until she has them both screaming at her.

The scary thing is that she will always be the baby, so she is going to have to figure out a way to grow out of the aggravating and irritating part.
She will.
She will have to.

She doesn't aggravate and irritate me.  She knows who she can aggravate and how far to go.  She is a smart little cookie.
I mean, look at those smiles.  Doesn't that look anything but precious?
