We look forward to lake day every year.  This was the first one of the summer.  We invited Cameron to go with us and took off on a Monday so that Sadie would be off to go too.

Molly loves to ride the tube.  She will ride it with anybody that wants to ride, or she will just ride by herself.  Like forever.  All day.

I love the excitement on Molly.  She can not contain herself.  Sophie is always excited too.  She knows how to contain herself most of the time.

Sadie needed a day off from work and I was almost a little sad for her that on her only day off from life guarding and we went to the lake where there is sun and water.  She didn't act like she minded.  

Tubing is not Sadie's favorite thing.  She will ride a couple of times but not like Molly and Sophie do.

Larry's favorite thing is trying to throw people off of the tube.  This is the smile on his face while trying.

We usually take lunch with us. 

There is no need in stopping for lunch right?

That would just kill the fun.

We always try to find a nice quiet calm cove to go to and do a little swimming some too.

Molly got Sophie to do some of her tubing tricks.  Of course, Molly then pushed Sophie off of the tube during one of these tricks.  

They were still friends after that.

They remained friends until Molly pushed Sophie off of the barge and her sunglasses sunk to the bottom of the lake.  The friendship was over for the day at that point.

We took a knee board with us this year.  Something different and a little more challenging.  Cameron got up.  Sadie got up.  Larry got up.  Sophie even got up on it.  

Molly was too little to try.  I tried a couple of times and then took a break.  The next time Cameron rode it a screw came out of it so we put it up so we didn't break it.  I'm hoping to conquer the knee board next trip.

It was the perfect day with the perfect people.  

Can't wait to do it again.
