Let me brag on Sadie a little.  I feel like I do brag on her a bunch but I don't really know if she knows how much I admire her strength and her determination and her character.  She has been handed some lemons and she has squeezed them hard.  She makes mistakes.  She is just like the rest of us and she is not perfect.  She is young and sometimes does really dumb things.  But she is tough.  She has taught me many things and still does.  She loves and not just for show....she truly loves.  She is a leader.  She has direction.  She loves the Lord.  I keep saying that she will do big things.

She has already done big things.

I'm not the only one that loves her.  She is loved everywhere where she goes.

She is all about sharing her testimony.  She attends a small group on Sunday evenings off campus.  She stood among her peers and shared her story with them.

She participated in Sexual Abuse Awareness week.  She posted these pictures on Facebook and shared her story.

She is way involved in her studies.  Above and Beyond.  She headed a research project this semester that took many hours of her free time.  She presented it at another college and shared her study at Scholars Day at OBU.

She got inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
They somehow printed her certificate in the name of Sadie Sturgis.  She has since gotten a new certificate with the right name but we won't ever forget Sturgis.

The same day of induction, she got voted Vice President of Psi Chi.

She is a lover of the special olympics.  She tries to go to every event she can.  She always sends me pictures with her and the friends that she makes.

She is loved by her psychology department.  They are close tight knit little family.  Dr. Wight is her advisor and he is very good to her.  It speaks volumes to me about him and about her.

She got invited to the Awards Banquet this year.  She was surprised that she got awarded the 2018 Psychology Faculty Award.

Keep shining Sadie Sturgis! I love you.
