Sophie was a little afraid about what this basketball season would hold.  

She had just got through with a great golf season that she didn't want to end.  And there was a new basketball coach.  She thought she would never like another coach after Coach Kidd.

After a few short months, she grew to love Coach Martin and enjoy basketball like golf.  

She has really grown as a basketball player.  She is beast on defense.  

She is still a little less confident handling the ball.  If she ever got ahold of that full force, she would be a force to be reckoned with.  

She had a great season.  We love watching her.  She now knows that she can love golf and basketball and have fun all year long.  

They had a great season!  She got close to some really good girls.  

There was a little bit of drama, as there usually is with a bunch of girls, but she handled herself very well in most of it and helped a lot of girls through some issues they were having.  

If I were a 9th grader, I would love to have Sophie as my BFF!
