Golf season is in full swing!! (ha ha) Full Swing



As soon as the rain stops falling and the ground dries up a little, it will be much more enjoyable. But I have still been playing nevertheless.

The previous three weekends I participated in a some kind of tournament. The first was the couples scramble here. Larry and I played together. We put ourselves in the bottom of the championship flight after the first round. We didn't score high enough Sunday to place, but we did win a scat on Sunday to win our money back. It was a beautiful weekend and we had a good time.

The following weekend we went to Idabel and played in the couples tournament there. It rained on us and was unseasonably cold Saturday and play was stopped short due to a tornado warning there. We resumed Sunday and finished first place in the first flight. We got entry fee back and then some on that trip.

The next weekend I went to Prescott to play in a 2Lady tournament with Mrs. Jane. It was a small one day tournament. We got rained on from beginning to end that day and had to stop play because of tornado warnings everywhere. Jane and I finished third place.

Man do I love me some golf!!!
