We celebrated Easter in Russellville this year. We all had a ball, including the kids. I only wanted to post a sneak peak at some of the pictures I took from the weekend because I have a surprise coming for a couple of people.

I'm so excited about the surprise!!
When we got to Mom's, they weren't there yet, so I took advantage of some floral backgrounds and snapped a few of my precious little ones. They turned out really well and I plan on taking these to get some prints.
Of course I vowed, while growling under my breath on my way to the car, to never do that event again. As I thought, I wondered why this was the first year I had taken Sophie. I remembered taking Sadie when she was young to the park to hunt Easter eggs and to see the Easter Bunny. Then my sweet Sadie reminded me.....
Sadie was one of the aggressive egg hunters when she was Sophie's age. She ended up with her blasket running over. A younger sweet little girl was crying, just as Sophie did, because she didn't get in there and tackle anybody for a plastic colored egg [that didn't have anything in it.] So, I encouraged, then begged, then made Sadie share her eggs with the other little girl. She didn't like that because she had worked so hard to collect her eggs.
So...to summarize:
Two Easter Egg Hunts at the park, with YEARS in between, and both times I left the park with my little girl crying.
I will not do that again......EVER!
But we had a nice hunt this weekend at Trisha's. It was very organized and controlled. Nobody got mad at anybody
.....unless someone got Rowdy's Happy Valentine Easter Egg. Then it was ON!! But that was mild.
Happy Easter!!

So sorry for the double comments. I kept getting error messages! Lucky for you I stopped after 2 failures!!
I'm still traumatized from an Easter Egg hunt when I was little. Easter egg hunts are of the devil, I tell ya!
Great pictures!
