Happy Birthday to my Sweet Sadie!!!

It is so hard to believe that Sadie is 14 years old.   Not only does it feel like I am not old enough to have a daughter 14 years old, but the years with her have flown by.  Sadie has such an old soul.  Not only do I think that, many many people have told me that over the years.  She has always been so mature for her age.  She is so very thoughtful.  She is very loving and forgiving.  She has such an outgoing personality!

Sadie and I are very close.  I share things with her, and she and I know each other very well.  I hope we stay as close as we are now, always.  As my first born and the oldest, she shares responsiblilities with me.  Out of my three girls, I think Sadie is the most like me.  Sadie is loved by so many.  In fact, in some places, I am only known as "Sadie's Mom."

She has so many accomplishments and is not scared to push herself.  She is in her second year of dance and has caught up with (and passed some), of the girls in her class that have taken dance for years.  She is a good student and makes wonderful grades.  I was told this weekend by the principal, that there are three kids in the eighth grade that have a 4.0 GPA.  Sadie is one of them.  She is in FBLA , the President of FCCLA, 8th Grade Representative, and now will soon be a memeber of Honor Society.

Sadie has decided in the last few weeks, that she wants to try out for cheerleader in the spring.  She is working hard to prepare for that.

She is very dedicated.  She is very loyal.  She loves our God.  I wish all good things for Sadie in her future, and I pray for her safety and health.  There is nothing I wouldn't do for her.  I can not imagine life without Sadie.

Thank you for the tears today! I love your love for her!! I am SO very excited about cheerleading. Does she practice to Pour Some Sugar on Me? Just wondering.... Happy Birthday Sadie. I cannot believe she's 14 either. It was her first birthday that I fell in love with those ham roll-ups. Yum!!!
