I'm only 10 days behind in posting this, but it was something too big just to skip over and not post.  After much dreaded anticipation and worrying, Sadie passed the written part of her driving test!!  She waited four months after she turned 14 to take the test because she was so afraid that she was not going to pass it.  She finally decided she was all studied up and ready to take it.  I guess she knew when she was ready.....I just don't know if I'm ready!!
She was really excited though and I was excited for her.  I had to cry a little, but I didn't let her see.  (She makes fun of me when I get emotional about what SHE thinks is silly stuff.)  We went driving that evening as soon as I got off of work.  She hasn't had very much practice until this point.  Because it is not legal to allow an unauthorized person to drive. I had to remind her of that from time to time.  But in 10 days, she has put a few miles on my car and got some driving lessons under her belt.  So unbelievable to me still, that she is old enough to be behind the wheel of a vehicle.  I pray that God will keep her safe at all times.

The other little toot that is growing way to fast, has lost yet another tooth.  She pulled this one all by herself the night before the recital.  She has lost four teeth in less about 2 months.  This makes her talk funny.  I got confused yesterday when she asked me if I wanted a classic donut.  I thought she said a plastic donut, which led to hysterical laughter.  I think the tooth fairy may have a little break for a while though because there aren't any more that are loose right now.

I know that the tooth fairy is delighted at the break for a while.  Not because of the money, but because of the scavenger hunt that happens at night when she goes in to fetch the tooth.  Sophie refuses to put her tooth under the pillow.  She is scared that the tooth fairy won't find it under there, or that the tooth will fall under the bed, or get wrapped up in the covers.  So instead, she diligently places the tooth somewhere in her room with a note to the tooth fairy.

Oh girl!! You have got your hands full!! Driving, loosing teeth, recitals...whew! I can't believe how fast they are growing. Way too fast for sure! I'm sure Molly isn't getting into much while you chase the big two around. Haha!

Yikes, I am not a fan of the whole driving thing but know it will be here before I know it.
