It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house. We now have all of our Christmas trees up and a few other decorations thrown around too.

This is Sophie's tree. She is major excited about her elf "Ella" coming back. She hasn't arrived yet. But Sophie is looking for her every day. I have a feeling she will land on Sophie's tree when she makes her appearance.

The next tree is upstairs. The girls gripe about this one but it looks so pretty up there in the window. I have attempted twice to get a timer to put on this one, and twice I have failed. The first time, Larry picked up the wrong kind. The second time, I paid for it but didn't make it from the store to home with it. I guess it's meant for me to walk up there twice a night to turn it on and off. God's way of insisting that I get some more exercise.

This is Sadie's tree. I told her she needed some more to put on it. We got some new ornaments and some ribbon and a tree topper, but she has yet to add it to it.

This is Molly's tree. She help put the ornaments on it. You can't see it very well, but her tree topper is a gold glittery princess crown. It fits her perfect.

Lastly, this is the family tree. It holds a conglomeration of ornaments that I have acquired over the years. There is no theme, there is no rhyme or reason, but I love it just the same.

On the way to Mom's on Thanksgiving, I had Larry stop at Caddo Gap at the river. It was 33 degrees and felt even colder by the water, but I wanted to try to get a family picture for Christmas cards. It was so cold and it took every bit of everything I had to talk all of them into the few pictures that I did get. They aren't wonderful, but this is the best that I got.

Maybe next year it won't be so cold, or I won't wait until the last minute, or I might even schedule a professional to take our picture.  Or maybe not.

This is a little of what it looked like trying to take more than one photo.....Molly was not very patient with me and wanted no part of taking pictures.

These two were a little more patient when I sent Larry and Molly to the car to turn on the heater.  They let me adjust my blanket for better lighting and let me take a few more.  What troopers!!  I should have used this one for the Christmas cards.  But it's not the whole family!!!

It is a fact that the more pictures I take, the better they are.  Maybe it's just because I have more to choose from.

However, we did make it to Mom's for Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful visit.  The food was delicious, as always.  NOBODY makes chicken and dressing like my Momma!!!  I ate too much, as always.

Grammy came.  Trisha, Jerry, Spencer, and Rowdy came.  Of course Mom and Wayne were there.  Then Larry, me, and the kids.  I didn't take very many pictures.  I didn't even get it out of the car until it was almost time to go.  I guess I was too busy and worried about that food!  I will do better at our Christmas celebration.  We are suppose to all get together this time.  So there will be plenty of picture taking to be had.

But I have to include these few pictures that I did take.  Apparently Molly got a kick out of crawling under the table all of the sudden.  She asked "Crisha" to come with her.  And of course.....

 "Crisha" did!!!
