Fun at Albert Pike again.

We loaded up Saturday afternoon and went to Albert Pike.

The water was still cold, but not as cold this time.

We were prepared this time and got the little girls some water shoes.
We should have gotten Larry some water shoes too.  He kept throwing his flip flops.
We all laughed so hard every time.  He came close to falling in, but never did.

Larry started a splashing war.

Sophie won.

Sadie took a water chair and tried to get some sun.  That was her main objective.

Molly had to pee, of course.  All she has known since she can remember is us telling her not to pee pee in her panties.  She got very confused when we were trying to get her to just pee in her bathing suit in the water.  She just simply refused.  She finally agreed to pee in the water, but she had to have her bottoms pulled down.

Sadie and Sophie did go exploring a bit.  They walked upstream a little ways until Larry hollered at them and made them come back.  (He's the overprotective one remember.)  Their journey had nothing to do with Molly peeing in the water.  They didn't even know about it.

We stayed several hours.  We waded and splashed and skipped rocks.

Sophie tried to master the hair flip.

I finally got them to get together and get still long enough to take a few pictures.

I love these kids!!

When we left, I wanted to go up to Little Missouri Falls.  I didn't know it was a treacherous 6 miles and the road was awful!  It took up about 45 minutes, but we made it.

It was worth the trip for me to see it.  Sadie and Sophie had been before with Aunt Tandie, but Molly loves waterfalls, so I knew she would love it.

She did love it, but it made her daddy a nervous wreck.  He was hovering little a momma bear.  I didn't think I was going to get a picture of them anywhere because he would have rather carried Molly everywhere.  He didn't want to put her down.

Sadie convinced him that she had Molly and wouldn't let her float off into the river.  He let me get a picture and then he rescued her from that dangerous river before she was swept away.
(insert sarcasm)

We hiked back out and the girls had to move this big boulder off of the trail so we could pass through it.  It was tough, but we made it.

(That was fabricated a little bit too.  I got carried away.)
