The last full day in Memphis was game day.  Sadie and the other girls had to be at the stadium, by bus, by 7:15 am for their first rehearsal.

Larry and I arrived at the stadium by 10:00 am to watch the final rehearsal.

It really was neat to see how everything came together.  The field was packed with all those high school bands and the 160 cheer/dancers.

Sadie was picked to do stunts.  I love how this picture she is in extension and Craig Morgan is in the background singing.  Pretty Cool.

They went through the whole performance about 4 times while we were there.  Many before we even got there.  So the girls were already worn out.

We had to exit the stadium and wait until the gates opened.  Larry and I went to the car to warm up.  The game didn't start until 2:00 pm.  The girls went to the bus where a sack lunch was provided.   Of course Sadie wouldn't eat it.

She was excited when we got in the gate and Larry bought her a cheeseburger.

Everywhere we went in town we saw purple.  There was more purple on Beale Street, in the hotel, on the streets walking...everywhere we went.  But at the game it was a different story.  It was a sea of red.

Sadie got to sit with us until it was time for her to go down to get ready to go on the field.  I was super proud that we got there to watch rehearsals because this was my view from our seats.

It was super cold.  It could have been colder.  But I'm not a cold weather fan, so it was plenty cold for me and my three layers.

It was a good game.  Hogs won.  We had fun.  All was good.

We went to eat after the game at Joe's Crab Shack.  Went to the hotel and went to bed and got up the next morning and headed to get our little girls.  We were excited to see them!

I don't know if Sadie realizes just how awesome her senior year has been.  But this was definitely part of the awesomeness.  A great experience that she will remember.
