Wednesday morning we got up and headed north.  We drove to Sedona, which was amazing.  Beautiful is not even a word to describe it.  I really think I could stay there for a week or two. We did a little stop and alot of looking.

We didn't have time, but would have loved to walk up to this church that was built in the side of this beautiful red rock mountain.

The Grand Canyon was final destination so we had to keep moving.  Molly was so excited about the Grand Canyon.  That is all we heard about.

We weren't prepared for the cold weather.  We stopped at a souvenir shop and got a few more clothes.  Who knew it would be freezing in the desert?
We found this cute little car there.  I had to get Sadie to take my picture.  In a hurry.

Then a short while later, we finally arrived at the Grand Canyon.  Definitely one of the seven wonders of the world.  It's beauty was amazing.  The pictures don't do it justice.  All I could think was how great is our God?

We did the photo op thing as much as we could.

Everyone took pictures with everyone.

Sadie insisted we do the "theme" picture at the Grand Canyon.

Molly and Sophie were fascinated with this little squirrel that was following them around.  I got a little perturbed with them about it.  I told them that we have lots of squirrels in Arkansas and they may never get to see what is in front of them again.  Soak it in girls!!

They complied.  AFTER the squirrel ran away.

I was so glad that we decided to make the Grand Canyon stop during our stay.  I'm so glad that Grandma Geri and Michael went with us.  We had originally planned to go there on Thursday, on the way back to Vegas.  This plan was so much better and even though it was cold, it actually snowed there that night after we left.  I think it would have been beautiful to see, but I'm thankful we missed that.

Molly took this selfie on her Dad's phone.  It turned out to be one of my favorite pictures of her.
