Molly's dance year has gone by really fast.  She is SO EXCITED about her recital coming up.  I knew she would love dance!  If only Mrs. Stacy would let her have a solo and SING during her routine....

She has done well for her first year.  She loves to come home and show us dance steps that she has learned and make us try to do them.  It is always the ballet moves though.  She never says anything about tap.  So when we went to the parent night and got to see their routines, I was amazed at her getting with it in those tap shoes.  She impressed me.  So, now I'm a little excited about the recital coming up.  I just dread going to all the rehearsals.  That wears me out.

Sadie and Cameron taught Sophie and Molly how to play Bullshit, which they call B.S.  They had a hard time convincing Molly that she had to lie about the cards in her hand.  She finally figured out that it was part of the game.  She still isn't very good at it but it is hilarious to hear her tell them she has 6 Queens.  (She's at a little disadvantage.)  She loves to play and acts like she knows what she is talking about.  Poor Sophie has no poker face at all.  We can all tell when she is lying.

Sadie came to court with me one day.  We had a jury trial going on and she decided to come watch some of it.  When she got there I told her that she looked cute.  She said that she had a hard time deciding what she should wear to court.  She said that she stood in the closet looking and said to herself, "What would Mom wear...."  I think she nailed it.

Sadie also was invited to be the guest speaker at the cheer banquet in Murfreesboro.  She had the cutest speech prepared.  She is very good at that kind of thing and I know she didn't get that from me.  She is going to do big things one day.  I am very proud of her in every way.

The whole family went to support her and as always, Cameron was there by her side too.  We had a nice dinner and listened to Sadie speak (as best as we could) and even came home with a silent auction item.  I will not talk bad about anyone or anyone's alma mater.  I will only say that it is great to be a Scrapper!

Molly has been patiently waiting on the pool to open.  Okay.  Not so patiently, but she has been waiting.  She has literally been counting down the days on the calendar.  There isn't anything she loves much more than swimming.

Sophie got three awards at the awards ceremony this year.  I am super proud of her.  She has done really well in elementary.  I hope she does well during her transition to junior high.  I loved loved junior high!  She is nervous about it, but looking forward to it at the same time.  I'm sure this summer will fly by for her.

The day of Sophie's awards ceremony, I got a call in the middle of it that Molly had fallen on the playground and busted her lip.  I went and picked her up.  She had a big fat lip and her front tooth was way looser than it was when she left the house that morning.  We got her some ice to put on it and got her some ice cream.  She went home with Sadie and was better.  I will say that it was the biggest lip I had ever seen from a fall.

She is the most clumsy kid I have ever known!!!

Larry and I went to Idabel to the couples tournament.  It was a very peculiar and interesting experience, but we shot 10 under the first day and finished it up the next with 4 under.  We won it for the first time.  We had come close a few times and even beat ourselves out of it one year.

Sadie kept the girls while we were gone.  They all had a good time.  I got pictures of their spa day.  Cameron is such a good sport and does whatever those girls tell him to do.  They crack me up!
