Molly's big day finally arrived. Her first dance recital. She was super pumped about costumes, make-up, stages, and dancing. We had two nights of rehearsal.
Sophie helped me get her ready and keep all of her things together. She was a big help to me and to Molly. She helped Molly know what to expect and when.
Her ballet piece was precious. She loved feeling like a princess. She loved the sparkles and the make-up. She loved posing for her pictures.
She loved having her big sisters there to support her and cheer for her and brag on her.
She loved all the attention.
Her tap costume and routine was too precious. I was really impressed by it. I think it was because she would practice her ballet at home and show us what she was learning, but the tap she didn't really do alot of because she said she couldn't show us tap without her tap shoes on. I would not allow her to tap in her tap shoes in the house.
I'm telling you. On that stage, she was showing her tap skills!
We were also impressed that she got the Star Award that was presented to only one student from her age group. She was super excited that she got a trophy.
At this point, I'm not really sure what her near future holds as far as dancing is concerned. We will have to see what direction she goes in and what her interests are next year. She enjoyed the recital.
We had watched the DVDs of Sadie and Sophie's dance recitals the week before. After her recital on the way home, she asked if she got a DVD of her recital. I told her that I had ordered one. She promptly asked me if I would send her DVD to Steve Harvey.
She wants to be on TV on Little Big Shots so bad!
