Sweet little girls in ballerina outfits, there is nothing more precious!

Sophie had her first dance lesson last Tuesday. She is always twirling and dancing and singing, so I thought this would be right up her alley. I enrolled her and we got the required pink dance dress, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. She was very excited and I was very anxious about how she would participate being the little shy bug that she is.

Sophie will be traveling with some of her friends to dance class on Tuesdays. Reese, Nancy, and Anna Claire. The mommys will take turns driving the little dancers over there.

The parents aren't allowed to watch, which I do understand, but Miss Missy was allowed to take a few pictures on their first day of class. They only thing that I got out of Sophie about her first dance lesson is that they did jumping jacks [and she illustrated] and they did 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' before they left. She absolutely loved it and can not wait until next week to go back.

Oh, and she thinks she is as pretty as a princess in her dance outfit. I agree!
